Presley's New Ride

P loves her new ride! And we love that we can push and drive it standing up from behind her!

It's Official...

...Jeff is now a licensed dentist! Coming soon to a clinic near you (if you live in Dallas, that is)!

Car Show Distraction

To help Jeff keep his mind of his licensing exam tomorrow, we decided to check out the car show. There were plenty of cool cars to look at (none of which we got pictures of) but, what we were really interested in were the bounce houses and petting zoo!

We were having lots of fun looking at the ducks...

...chasing the dog...

...petting the goats...

...and feeding the alpaca!

It was all fun-and-games until someone started eating the alpaca food. Then it was time to grab some lunch!

A Professor for a Day

Jeff had some things to take care of on campus today so, our little Sweet P got to come and be a Professor for the afternoon!

She brightened my afternoon...

...and we accomplished a lot!

Our Little Picasso

We finally introduced P to the art of finger painting and she really enjoyed it! I think she had more fun painting herself than her paper!

The funniest moment came when we took her into her bathroom to get her ready for her bath. She saw the mess she created in the mirror and was suddenly very concerned...

Senior Banquet

To celebrate the official end of dental school (and to cut loose before the stressful licensing exam) we got to enjoy Jeff's senior banquet. We had fun getting all dressed up, enjoying a nice dinner with his friends, and kicking off the graduation celebrations! Auntie Greer (or "Dear," a P calls her) came to babysit and we enjoyed a night out!

All of the students got an official name plate sporting their new credentials, which was fun!

The food was good, the program was a little long, but we got a giggle out of Jeff's senior superlative..."Most Likely to Hire a Body Guard for His Daughter" ;-)

I sure would like to get my hands on one of these butter molds...Go Gators!

Random Moments

Watching an airplane with Daddy

Snuggling with Mommy (one of my favorite things ever!)

Reading books before bed

Strolling in the park

Wearing flippers non-stop (why not?)

Painting (Yes, we give her paper. Sometimes (read: Most of the time) she just elects not to use it!)

Licking beaters...P's new-found pleasure

And cruising the lake with Uncle Jay. He even let her drive the boat and honk the horn!

A Day at the Beach

After a much-too-long hiatus from the beach, we decided it was time to take our little Sweet P to experience one of our great loves. She was pretty excited!

Here excitement waned a little while she felt the warm sand on her feet. After that, she preferred to stay on top of our beach blanket under the shade.

She was equally unenthused with the water to begin with. It was a little chilly and she preferred to be in Momma or Daddy's arms.

First time with her feet in the ocean...let the tears begin!

She was happy as a clam sitting on the blanket and eating!

Her fear of the sand and the water finally subsided when the cutest little Jack Russell puppy arrived for a walk in the water! She forgot all about it so that she could chase and pet the puppy!

Weee! She finally caught the beach bug and started to explore...

...and then she fell down in the water and we had a brief relapse.

Thankfully, she gathered her courage enough to get down again and enjoy walking on the beach with Daddy.

And, of course, she had to enjoy a little time in her birthday suit before we went home.

I just love those little Tobler buns!

We Have a Champion!

Jeff's been playing on the dental school intramural softball team for the last 4 years. And in their final outing before graduation, they finally won the graduate school championship! Jeff was pretty excited about the much coveted championship t-shirt (it's a sign of supreme accomplishment at the gym) and his girls are very proud of him!

Sneaky Little Bugger

I found this sneaky little bugger in between my toes whilst giving myself a pedi.

A biopsy quickly followed! (Ouch!)

Thankfully, it was just a normal mole. Jeff and I were certain it was cancerous and were elated when it wasn't! The lesson...when you do your skin cancer screenings, be sure to check in between your toes!
