So, Jeff and I have been getting hassled for supporting Obama (he has my vote and I think Jeff is still considering him). A Tobler-family friend, Joseph, had an interesting post on his blog today. I'm not recommending it to "stir the pot" but rather as "food for thought" as the election nears. Check out his "in response" post:

I read the blog you suggests and it really had a great visual impact. It's so shocking and so true, how deeply impacted we are by race and don't even realize it.
Steve Young's wife just said how thankful she is that she can "vote her conscious" without being bullied into voting one way or another by the people you are around. I really liked that thought too.
